Golf courses don´t get much prettier than Staffields Golf Course in Seremban, Malaysia.

Designed by Graham Marsh and Ross Watson the 27- hole complex opened in 1994 and quickly gained recognition as one of the best courses in Malaysia.

The 27-holes are set out in a 335-acre site, with rolling hill and meadowlands that create a unique course in the area

With 81 bunkers spread across the 27-holes and 7 lakes Staffield presents a great test of golf in a beautiful setting.

The Northern loop is the longest of the three at almost 3200 metres, and as with the slightly shorter Western and Southern is comprised of the traditional 2 par 3s, 2 par 5s and 5 par 4s.

Marsh and Watson have created an aesthetically pleasing golf course, that will delight both the amateur and professional golfer alike.

Rolling hills, strategically placed water hazards and bunkers result in a challenging yet enjoyable test of golf, regardless of the combination of holes you play.

The Western 9, usually the first nine holes is probably the most straightforward of the loops, but you will still be challenged. Hole 4 is a great example of the challenges you will face. A par four measuring 379 metres requires an accurate tee shot and an even more precise approach shot.

Finishing the Western 9 is the 348-metre par 4 which requires a good tee shot to dissect the lakes that await anything not truly struck.

The Southern starts with a double dogleg par 5, and just keeps on giving. The run of holes on the Southern course is sublime, probably the best of the three loops.

Finishing with a classic par three and a incredible par 4 the Southern nine is not to be missed.

Hole 20, or the Northern´s 2nd is a cracking hole, that requires a good set up from the tee. The approach is scary, water protects the green and anything off line will end up in trouble.

Hole 25, is possibly the most picturesque on the course. A lake sits in front and to the right of the green, providing the difficulty required for a great par 3, but with various teeing options the hole is a genuine chance for a good score for any golfer.

The elegant “Tudor” style club house sits perfectly in the centre of the complex and enjoys year -round cooling breezes. Set over two floors the clubhouse is large and has all the facilities required.

Staffield Golf is a superb location to visit and enjoy a super round of golf in beautiful surroundings.
