Bukit Jalil Golf Country Resort

The signature 18-hole golf course at Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Club, was designed by Australian Max Wexler and is a par-72, playing at 6,228 yards.

The course is surrounded by lush, tropical scenery and the main feature of the course is the undulating greens, which are present throughout the 18 holes.  Water is also consistent throughout a round of golf at Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Resort, coming into play on no fewer than twelve holes.  Perhaps the most testing in terms of the water hazard, is the 13th hole, where water stretches between the fairway and the green.  The water also winds its way up the right side of the fairway, so a tee shot down the left side is the order of the day.  

The 18th hole also features a shot over water, from an elevated tee position and is regarded as the signature hole of the course.  The tee shot has to clear a stream, which is crossing the fairway and reach a landing area, just over 200 yards away.  The green is uphill from this position but is well guarded by a bunker complex, to the front and the left.

The greens can hold the ball well, and depending on the conditions during or prior to a round, it’s possible to make the ball stick.  This can open up the possibility of some great birdie opportunities.

Over the past two years, the course at Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Club has undergone a lot of maintenance, which has really helped to improve the quality of the fairways and greens.

Other facilities in the resort, include a swimming pool, tennis, squash, gym, table tennis, badminton, basketball and snooker.  So there is something to keep everyone entertained, away from the golf course.  There are also two restaurants, a golfer’s lounge, café and sushi bar, catering for all tastes, with a choice of different menus and these are a great way to eat and relax after a round of golf.
