After a relatively easy start things get serious on the 2nd which is a different proposition with water all down the left, a pot bunker lurking in the middle of the fairway and water in front of the green.  Fortunately the greens are exceptionally well maintained but are some of the quickest in the area.  Water and bunkers come into play on the par-3, 6th which also the longest on the course.  The 9th is one of the most difficult and your uphill tee shot needs to negotiate pot bunkers on the left and trees on the right with more bunkers lying in wait protecting the undulating green.

The 13th is the pick of the holes on the back nine and you tee off into a valley fairway and then you climb up the other side of the valley as you approach the green.  Two very deep bunkers guard the right side of the green and a false front penalises those that under-club.  The green itself slopes front back to front so you need to keep below the hole with your approach.  The next hole, the par-3, 14th is supposed to be the easiest on the course but you need to take care as there are five bunkers protecting the green.  The 17th is another tricky par-3 which can also wreck your round and you have to carry all the way to the green to avoid the trouble.  A great finishing hole with fairway bunkers, trees along the left and water in play on the right plus a tricky approach to a three-tiered green.
