Golfers going south might like to check out what may soon become one of the best golf courses in Johor – Senibong Golf Club, situated just off Malaysia – Singapore's Second Link Expressway is not far from the state administrative capital of Iskandar Puteri.

The Senibong Golf Club is not a brand new golf course and was previously known as the Poresia Country Club, a 36-hole course originally designed by Pete Dye which first opened for play in 1990.

In the last 18 months year substantial refurbishment and renovation work has been carried out on two or the original nines with plans to develop housing on other parts of the course.  Already, nine holes in the remodelled course are ready for play with the remainder of the 18 holes due to fully open in October 2020.

It’s a good experience playing the course the first time.

Interesting lay out.. The course is relatively short but challenging holes with tight fairways. A chance for drivable par 4 on hole #3 so that’s interesting. Toilet facilities needs upgrading as it’s essential.. I understand the course just opened after COVID so more work needs to be done on tee boxes, buggy conditions. For me value for money.
