This comprehensive 11 day golf is a perfect introduction to Japan  for the first time visitor as you will get to experience some great sightseeing in Tokto and Kyoto and play some of the best golf courses in the area as you make your way from Tokyo to Kyoto.

You will get to play six rounds of golf:

Miho Golf Club is a beautiful course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. which has hosted several major tournaments.  You can also enjoy Golf at Dai Hakone Country Club -  a unique course which straddles the Sengokuhara plain against a backdrop of the mountains of the outer rim of Hakone Crater.

The Kawana Hotel Golf Course Fuji Course, designed by C.H Alison and opened for play on 1936, has maintained its world-wide reputation as one of the finest tests of golf in Japan. With the Sagami Bay glistening in the background, the Oshima Golf course at the Kuwana Hotel Golf course is a wonderful layout.

Seta Golf Course, North Course is a Seiichi Inoue design that has become a favourite of many locals and tourists.  At 7012-yards the course is relatively long from the back tees and requires a good skill level to take on the challenge, however the courses playability from the various tee positions enables every level of golfer to enjoy this wonderful layout.

Set in an incredible 1.48 million square metres the Taiheiyo Takarazuka Golf Course is a wonderful design by Tomikatsu Kato.

Itinerary

Day 1:  Narita International Airport to Tokyo

After arriving at Narita International Airport and completing immigration formalities, you will be greeted by your English Speaking Chauffeur at the arrival gate and transfer in a private vehicle to your hotel.

Day 2:  Tokyo – Full day sightseeing

At 9:00, meet with your English Speaking Guide in the hotel lobby and leave for Tokyo excursion by Private chartered vehicle.  Highlights include:  Hamarikyu Garden, a vast landscaped park  in the middle of Tokyo. Enjoy a Sumida River Cruise to enjoy the view of Tokyo from different angle. Visit the huge Meijijingu Shrine and then move onto the busy streets of Omotesando and Aoyama – it is a great area to stroll around!  

Day 3:  Tokyo – Golf in Ibaraki / Miho Golf Club

Transfer to Miho Golf Club - a beautiful course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. which has hosted several major tournaments.

Day 4:  Move to Hakone – Full day sightseeing

After breakfast leave for Hakone to enjoy some of the major sighst which include:  Visit Yosegizaiku Studio and see how they make a type of traditional Japanese parquetry.  Take a lake cruise while enjoying the magnificent views of Mt.Fuji in the background.  Visit the unique Hakone Open Air Museum, where you can enjoy the balance of nature and art through a variety of sculptures in perfect harmony with picturesque views of the surrounding valley and mountains.  

Day 5:  Hakone - Golf at Dai Hakone Country Club

This unique course straddles the Sengokuhara plain against a backdrop of the mountains of the outer rim of Hakone Crater.

Day 6: Move to Izu - Golf at Kawana Golf Club - Oshima Course

After breakfast leave for Ize and play gofl at Kawan Golf Club - Oshima Course - which was designed by Mitsuaki Otani and was opened in 1928 and is one of the oldest courses in Japan.

Day 7 - Golf at Kawana Golf Club - Fuji Course

Fuji Course was designed by C.H. Alison and was opened in 1936.  It is a challenging and exciting course to play for all golfers.

Day 8 - Move to Kyoto 

Transfer to Mishima Station. Take a bullet train to Kyoto.  On arrival check into yor hotel.

Day 9:  – Kyoto - Full day sightseeing

Highlights include:  An introduction to the basics of Zen meditation. Then transfer to Fushimi Inari Taisha which is the head shrine of Inari. Visit Sanjusangendo Hall and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the temple and Kiyomizu-dera Temple with views over the city of Kyoto. Finally visit the Geisha district of Gion, famed for the preservation of its traditional architecture.

Day 10: Golf at Seta Golf Club - North Course

The course was created by renowned course design architect Seiichi Inoue and hosted many a fierce battle. Designed with Mackenzie bent golf green, the course is kept in best conditions throughout the year providing golfers with a caddy for assistance.

Day 11: Golf at Taiheiyo Club Takarazuka Course

A really nice feature of the design are the grass bunkers that are reminiscent of the old Scottish Links courses.

Day 12:  Departure

Check out the hotel and transfer to Kansai International Airport by Private Chartered Car.
