This tour combines two of Japan's best-known golfing regions and you will get to visit Ibaraki and Tochigi and play some of the best golf courses.
Sun Hills Country Club is a beautiful course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and it has been certified by both JGTO and LPGA – there are only 2 courses in Japan with these 2
certifications.
Ibaraki Prefecture is home to a range of fantastic golf courses in Japan and a great example is Miho Golf Club. This is one of several golf courses in Japan which has been designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr and plays to Just over 7,000 yards from the back tee. However, there is a choice of four tee boxes on each hole, making Miho Golf Club playable for everyone.
Several domestic professional tournaments have been held at Prestige Country Club and both courses provide a good test of ability. There are several water hazards throughout the 36 holes and large bunkers flank the fairways. Look out for the island green on the West course which is a highlight of the round.
The Royal Golf Club is a beautiful waterfront course with plenty of ponds. Although the fairways are pretty wide the courses tends to narrow as you approach the green.
Day 1: Arrival in Narita International Airport – Move to Tochigi
After arriving at Narita International Airport transfer in a private vehicle to your hotel in Tochigi. (About 2.5 hours’ drive with normal traffic condition.)
Overnight Sun Hills Golf & Resort.
Day 2: Tochigi - Golf at Sun Hills Country Club
This beautiful course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and it has been certified by both JGTO and LPGA – there are only 2 courses in Japan with these 2 certifications.
Day 3: Tochigi – Golf at Prestige Country Club – Move to Tokyo
Prestige Country Club is home to not one but two excellent 18 hole golf courses. After enjoying golf, you will transfer to Tokyo by Private Chartered Car. (About 95 minutes’ drive with normal traffic condition). Overnight at The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho
Day 4: Tokyo – full day sightseeing
A full day tour of Tokyo - highlights include: A peaceful stroll in Hamarikyu Garden, a vast landscaped park characterized by its tranquility in the middle of Tokyo. Then take a Sumida River Cruise to enjoy the view of Tokyo from different angle. You will also experince the small streets of Asakusa, one of Tokyo oldest and well preserved districts. Then we will take you to Golf Shops! After that you will visit one of the restaurants / bars to enjoy Private Sake Tasting Session with Sake Master!
Day 5: Move to Ibaraki - Golf at Miho Golf Club
Transfer to today’s golf course by Private Chartered Car. (About 90 minutes’ drive with normal traffic condition) Miho Golf Club which was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. has hosted several major tournaments in the past and is a beautifully designed course. After enjoying golf, you will transfer to the hotel by Private Chartered Car. (About 70 minutes’ drive with normal traffic condition) Overnight at The Royal Golf Club.
Day 6: Ibaraki – Golf at The Royal Golf Club – Departure from Narita International Airport
The Royal Golf Club is a beautiful waterfront course with plenty of ponds but with wide fairways. After you game transfer to the airport for departure. (About 2 hours’ drive with normal traffic condition)
