BRG King's Island C. Club Kings Course

Painfully slow and worst caddie I've every had

Reviewed by ; on
I played the Lakes course 3 days prior and had a wonderful time, great caddie, food is pretty good. So was the pace of Play. Today regrettably played the Kings course which everyone said was their gem, and quit through hole 13 due to it being extremely slow. When I got to the first tee there were 2 groups waiting to tee off. Behind me were 2 more groups. Additionally, I couldn't communicate anything with my caddie. She couldn't read the greens ,scratched my putter, kept telling me to hit before players walked off the green. She was on her phone the whole time. I've played all over Asia and I don't expect the Caddies to speak perfect English, but this caddie couldn't speak a single word of English. This goes down as one of my least favourite rounds of golf in Asia, and I would not recommend this place. After waiting on the 14th tee box for 15 minutes I decided this was enough and we left. I had already been playing for almost 5 hours. In hindsight, I shouldn't have even tipped my caddie.

Fantastic experience with 3 courses to chose from.

The course was in great condition. The greens were not consistent but that could have been my bad putting. Excellent place to play. Would play early as it was really crowded when I finished at 11.30. Will play there again

Really fun course

We player the King's Course. It was in great shape and very difficult. Bunkers are everywhere. We loved it, even though our scores were worse than we expected.

We didn't know where to go as 3 points appeared on google map. The fairway was good, but the green is slow.
