After a very picturesque 40 minutes’ drive you arrive at the scenic, spectacularly carved out of the hillside. This is not a particularly difficult course with generous fairways but the many elevation changes and the usual water hazards add to the challenge. To further complicate proceedings, the greens are very small and require an accurate approach to hold and inevitably you will miss a few so your short game needs to be on song.

Some of the trickier holes include the par-4 9th, with water lying in wait off the tee and if you can negotiate that then you are faced with an approach over a water-filled ravine to a steeply sloping green and we strongly advise that you keep below the hole in order to avoid 3- putt.

The next hole is an epic par-5 with a very narrow fairway with bunkers on one side and out of bounds on the other. The downhill fairway means that a straight and accurate drive will often run down the hill giving a chance to reach the green in two.
