Yas Links, Abu Dhabi was the first true links golf course in the Middle East and without doubt does not disappoint. Set on the western shores of Yas Island, the entertainment destination of Abu Dhabi.

The designer, Kevin Phillips has created an absolute masterpiece.  As a renowned golf course architect, specializing in links designs, he was an obvious choice for the project.

The course at Yas Links will leave you wanting to come back and play again and again. Set alongside the Arabian Coast, you are treated to a truly fantastic experience in the perfect settings.

The facilities are extraordinary with an 18 hole championship course, a 9 hole academy course, built to the same exacting standards of the championship course and a floodlit golf academy to rival all others in the Dubai region.

The clubhouse is stunning and provides golfers with absolutely everything they would require before or after their round.

The championship course which has achieved recognition as one of the top 10 international new courses, by Golf Magazine and the best course outside the USA by Golf Digest, flows gracefully and effortlessly through mangrove plantations and the rolling hills.

Every single hole provides stunning vistas over the Arabian Gulf and Yas Links has quickly established itself as a favourite amongst locals and visitors alike.

The rolling fairways, pot bunkers and unpredictable wind conditions give Yas Links a sense of mystery, something that is unique to the course in the Dubai golf scene. It blends traditional values with the latest technology to provide a sensually stunning golf course that is a must play for anyone considering a holiday to the UAE.

Every single hole at Yas Links is stunning and tests the golfer’s nerve and skill at every single turn.

But without doubt the flawless, most memorable hole on the course has to be the par 3, 17th. The hole follows the outline of a tranquil bay, created by an inlet into the coastline. The tee shot must be played over the water, which is made more difficult by the constantly changing coastal breezes. If that is not enough to get the golfer thinking, then dune bunkers surround the green make this one of the most spectacular and testing holes in the UAE.

The course offers various tees to cater for all levels of golfer, but this does not give way to an easy game. The fairways are generous in places but if you miss them you will be face with a perilous challenge. The bunkers are perfectly placed on every single hole and keep the golfer thinking from the first tee to the final approach.

The large but undulating greens put a final stamp on the purest of links golf courses. Kevin Phillips, is without doubt one of the top designers in the golfing world right now and with Yas Links he has only served to improve his position as a golf course architect.

Well kept and picturesque course

Lots of bunkers to test your sand escape ability and water to contend with on some holes. The greens are fast and often quite large but certainly not flat. A challenging but very enjoyable course

Nice golf course, guy. They've worked hard to get it back to its peak, and the results are showing. A good golf test.
