Phoenix Golf and Country Club, Pattaya has recently changed hands and is undergoing major renovations including the closure of one of the nines for a major renovation and remodelling. The course has 27 holes so you can still enjoy a round here and we expect that this course will get better and better as the owner has deep pockets and they have ambitions to attract major international events. Phoenix Golf and Country Club is around 30 minutes outside Pattaya. The course was originally designed by Denis Griffiths in 1993 and the three course are spread over more than 1,000 rai and having been around for so long the course is blessed with may mature trees and colourful local plants.

In addition there are plenty of lakes, ponds and bunkers to ensure that the golf course has some protection.

The Mountain Course offers golfers a wonderful view of one of the famous local landmark which is a huge image of a Buddha carved into a sheer cliff face with a laser. The narrow undulating fairways and the fast greens will provide a stern test for all golfers.

The Lakes Course rewards golfers who can keep their drives on line so ensuring the best position for your layup to the greens. The course is sprinkled with many beautiful ponds and small lakes and few strategically-placed trees and bunkers to challenge most golfers.

The Ocean Course is a favourite with local Pattaya golfers as many of the fairways are lined with mature trees but it is now undergoing a major renovation and to modernise the layout and it is expected to re-open in early 2016.

Has potential to be excellent but fell down a little this time

A nice layout, but unfortunately not in the best condition. It was very busy and the pace of play suffered as a result. It has held pro events so clearly has the capability of being excellent. The greens played better than they looked in truth. With so many courses in the Pattaya area I doubt I would return to this one in truth.

exceeded expectations...no pushing and shoving today

the caddy :"wone' was superb. so much confidence in reading the putt even when she was wrong. somehow she was still smiling at the end of the day having to watch my game all day. not too much H20, cuz I freeze on those over water shots...thank you

Great layout!! Excellent conditions from tee to green. Greens were receptive, fast and true. Cart paths in need of some maintenance.

Great course and good warm up round. Caddies good fun. only downside hire clubs weren't of quality of other courses but only minor grumble. Excellent service from golfsavers in booking, as needed to add player.
