Pattaya Country Club Golf Resort has recently re-opened after a lengthy closure and has been extensively renovated. Not the most exciting course in Pattaya but one of the closest to the town and ideal for high handicappers and those trying to stretch their budget.

In the hills behind Pattaya, conveniently located just off the main Pattaya-Rayong motorway, bordered by pineapple and palm plantations lies the upgraded Pattaya Country Club.

An interesting layout with split fairways and some cleverly located bunkers but not too much water to spoil your card.

The front nine are pretty straightforward and it is not until your reach the 9th which is a long uphill par-4 and rated the most difficult on the course that things start to get interesting and could lead to a dropped shot.

The back nine is much more interesting with several water hazards in play. Hole 11 is a particularly interesting and challenging par-5 with several bunkers to negotiate and a stream which crosses in front of the raised green.

They have recently completed a brand new clubhouse with state-of-the-art facilities.

not in great conditions compared to other courses in the area

a bit far from Pattaya and Jomtien, and the facilities (clubhouse, restaurant) are not great. The course is not very well maintained compared to other courses in the area. The caddie was useless (not knowing the distance). I actually only did 9 holes and called Phoenix Golf golf club to book another round in the afternoon. Wouldn't recommend this course.

Course good but see comment above … On the whole service great but the group had 1 very poor caddie who was disinterested, didn’t help and walked away before the end … worse caddie in 16 years of playing golf in Pattaya

if you like playing out in the jungle, this ones for you. decent shape. cool clubhouse. not much going on out there. i'd do again.

Value for money course and so close to pattaya.

A little dry but so many in Pattaya the same from lack of water. In Australian terms excellent value for money as a starter course. Continues to suit average to good golfers. Always enjoy playing PCC and will return.

I’m just very privileged to have played here.

We were able to get in early and enjoy the sunrise over the morning dew. A treat for the eye. After 1 hole there was no one in front or behind us so a very relaxed and quick game. Finished by 10:00 before the heat of the day. Our caddies were very knowledgeable, I only with I could place the ball where they told us 😉 Hope to come back here some time soon.
