Northill Chiang Mai golf course has been extensively renovated and is due to re-open at the end of October 2015. As well as extensively remodelling six of the holes to make them more playable there will be a brand new driving range and modern club house. The course is not that long so it is ideal for players of all standards. The surroundings are not as picturesque as some of the other mountain golf courses in Chiang Mai but its proximity to the city will make this golf course a popular choice when it re-opens.

Great track but so much water. Better to play the course a few times to learn the layout.

Really enjoyed this course but played as a single thus reducing my appreciation of the course. Good caddy and buggy. I started on the back nine and finished in an hour. The front nine was a little different taking 2 hours.

Challenging course, but could be better maintained

The course is full of water hazards, but overall, it is still enjoyable and fun for mid-high handicappers. Caddies don't speak much English but service is acceptable The condition of the course is average, overgrown grass can be spotted in a few green aprons, uneven fairways, etc. Facilities were okay and have seen better days.

Overall is good however caddie cannot speak English and also no heart to find balls.

Green is too slow. Lighting is not good enough for night golf. Caddie cannot speak English and not professional to find balls.

Pace of play was horrible

Pace of play was horrible. The course stacked up too many tee times and we have to wait on almost every hole. Par 3s in particular had 3 flights on a tee. Our tee time was 9.40am but at that time, there were still another flight infront of us waiting to tee off. Tee boxes conditions were bad too and very uneven with brown patches.

A very challenging course to play and definitely not a resort course

Course condition is average, greens are good, but course is very difficult as there are water obstacles on almost every hole. The course is very difficult with lots of water carry on every hole. greens are fast as well and challenging
