Northill Chiang Mai golf course has been extensively renovated and is due to re-open at the end of October 2015. As well as extensively remodelling six of the holes to make them more playable there will be a brand new driving range and modern club house. The course is not that long so it is ideal for players of all standards. The surroundings are not as picturesque as some of the other mountain golf courses in Chiang Mai but its proximity to the city will make this golf course a popular choice when it re-opens.

Frustratingly slow

The course itself provides a challenging round with plenty of water, bunkers and dogleg holes. However, the course management left much room for improvement: there were group sizes ranging between 1-5 players on the course, often times 3-4 flights on tee boxes. The club facilities with stylish restaurants and variety are great. Changing rooms for ladies were small and shower cabinets quite filthy & smelly.

A great course, with very good facilities and caddies

Always a pleasure to play at North Hills. Not the longest, but a strategic course that needs full guile and focus to keep out of trouble. Caddies are always super helpful here. Course in very good condition.

We really enjoyed the course and would love to play it again. Well-maintained and interesting holes. (Der Platz hat uns sehr gut gefallen und würden ihn immer wieder gerne spielen. Gut gepflegt und interessante Löcher.)

The course was in a pretty bad condition.

Even the tee boxes have so many divots. Would not suggest night golf there since the lighting is not good. There was only one other group in front of us and one behind. So we pretty much had the course to ourselves.

A challenging course in great condition

This is an excellent strategic course, which really tests your game. Caddies are very good, and you are well looked after. However, you must be patient as rounds can take up to 5 hours or more at this popular course.
