Golf holidays in Clark-Angeles

Clark-Angeles is a region in the central area of Luzon Island, Philippines.  It is home to the Clark International Airport, which was the former Clark Air Base, once the largest US military site outside the continental United States.

The city and region of Clark-Angeles have developed significantly since the closure of the US base and it has become one of the leading places to live and visit in Philippines.  This in turn has made it a top place for playing golf, with a choice of excellent golf courses in the area.

Clark-Angeles golf packages have become very popular in recent years, especially as this part of Philippines is easy to reach thanks to the Clark International Airport.  You can fly from Japan, Singapore, Dubai, South Korea and Hong Kong in addition to the capital of Philippines, Manila and enjoy as part of a Clark-Angeles golf package.

You can enjoy a short Clark-Angeles golf package and the Clark Golf Break spans three nights and includes two rounds of golf.

You will begin with a round at Royal Garden Golf and Country Club.  Situated in the Pampanga region of Philippines and just 15 minutes from the city.  It will take you a matter of minutes to transfer from your hotel to this golf course.

The fairways are wide and rolling on this golf course, making it a delight for those who like playing with the driver.  It is a links style course, something which is rarely found in the Philippines and that alone makes it worth a visit.  The golf course is always in good condition at Royal Garden Golf and Country Club and the greens play fast and true.

Having enjoyed some free time and returned to your hotel, the following day you will head out to play a round at Mimosa Golf and Country Club.  This is a fantastic 36-hole championship golf course and you have a choice between the Acacia Lakeview Course and the Mountainview Course.

If you wish, you can create a Clark-Angeles golf package which allows you time to include a round on both golf courses at Mimosa Golf and Country Club and this is highly recommended.

The golf courses have been designed by Nelson and Haworth to championship standard.  The Mountainview Course is arguably the pick of the two and it is worth remembering the course came about as a result of a volcanic eruption in 1991.  The Philippine government commissioned the creation of the golf course, which winds around the Mimosa trees and uses some of the former golf course to create a tremendous round of golf.

The course is good for players of all abilities and both the Acacia Lakeview Course and the Mountainview Course make a great addition to all Clark-Angeles golf packages.

You can add these golf courses to create a longer Clark-Angeles golf package including other areas of Philippines, such as Baguio and Boracay Island.  Clark Sun Valley Golf Country Club, and FA Korea Golf Country Club are two additional golf courses in the region which you can consider.
