Kansai Kuko Golf Club is just 50 minutes from the centre of the city and 45 minutes from Kansai airport.  Although the course is quite short, there are still plenty of challenges and the fairways and greens are in excellent condition.  The pick of the holes on the front nine is the par-4 seventh which has a water hazard along the left and a heavily bunkered green.   On the inward nine, the par-4 twelfth is a severe dog leg with large bunker complexes near the green and the fourteenth is an interesting par-3 with a large pond stretching from tee to green.  A very exciting par-4 to finish with an island green totally surrounded by water.

Osaka Golf Club was established in 1937 and is a championship course designed by Osamu Ueda.  The course is renowned as being one of the most difficult courses in Japan partly because it is located beside the sea and is often affected by the prevailing winds.  There are plenty of elevation changes and many of the greens have two tiers which makes putting very difficult if you get in the wrong position.  Club selection on the par-3s is especially challenging when the wind blows.
