Set in between Iono Lake to the east, Ise Bay to the south, Suzuka mountain to the west and the Yunoyama plateau to the north the Golf 5 Yokkaichi Golf Course is blessed with incredible panoramic views that only add to the natural beauty of the golf course.
Tsu Country Club has some very interesting design features which include the incredible brick-faced water hazards that create a wonderful visual impact, drawing the golfers eye to the water hazard.
We have left a day to explore some of ther other attractions of the region including Ise Jingu(Ise Shrine) which is the shinto shrine that the Japanese adore as "Soul of Japan". Located in Ise city, Mie Prefecture, Japan.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at Ama Hut Hachiman and enjoy a delicious seafood lunch cooked by the local Ama divers. They have huts where they rest after diving and take care of their tools between diving sessions. You can visit the ama hut at Hachiman Kamado and the will cook lunch for you.
The Mikimoto Pearl Island also offers regular performances by female pearl divers, who have traditionally been planting and harvesting the oysters (and other seafood).
Day 1: Arrive Nagoya airport - drive to Shima
One arrival pick up your rental car and drive to Shima. It takes about 2.5 hours from Nagoya airport
On arrival check into Miyako Resort Shima Bayside Terrace and the rest of the day is free.
Day 2: Golf at Nemu Golf Club
It takes around 15 minutes to drive to Nemu Golf Club overlooking Ago Bay the course is a wonderful mix of seaside splendour and woodland retreat..
If you finish early you might like to take a ride up the Yokoyama Observatory which is 15 minutes and ofders spectacular views over Ago Bay.
Day 3: Golf at Kintetsu Hamajima Country Club
It takes just 10 minutes to reach Kintetsu Hamajima Country Club, a beautiful seaside resort that runs along the Ago Bay and the Pacific Ocean.
Day 4: Day Free for sightseeing & shopping
A rest day from golf and a chance to explore. About one hour nouth of your hotel is the Ise Grand Shrine which is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu. You could also enjoy a seafood lunch at the Ama Hut Hashiman cooked by local women whose way of life involves free diving to gather shellfish, sea vegetables and other marine products. Not far away is Mikimoto Pearl Island where you can see a demonstration of pearl diving and also visit their shop. End your day in Yokkaichi and check in Miyako Hotel.
Day 5: Golf at Golf 5 Country Club Yokkaichi Course
It takes around 30 minutes to reach Golf 5 Country Club Yokkaichi Course with incredible panoramic views that only add to the natural beauty of the golf course.
If you finish early you might like to take a ride up the Gozaisho Ropeway which is 20 minutes away and takes you to the top of the mountain.
Day 6: Golf at Tsu Country Club
Its a 75 minute drive to Tsu Country Club, a stunning course that will test both your mental and physical game.
Day 7: Depart Nagoya
The day is free until your departure. Its a 60 minute drive to the airport.
